Perception

"A fool sees not the same tree that a wise man sees"
- William Blake, 1757- 1827

People might look at the same thing but each of them could see something else. Some people only see the superficial side of something while some one else could look beyond that and see what it could mean or represent. The person could also think about how it got to be that way and that could trigger many thoughts and ideas. A fool would look at a tree and say that its just a tree while a wise man could look at that same tree and see a beautiful living thing that is very peaceful and majestic by the way it stands high above the people and buildings. Its all about what you think about when you look at something.
